Practical Task on Actors
For our film opening we are doing a supernatural horror genre. I looked at films similar to this and found that mainly the main character tends to be a child who gets possessed or has a connection with the Demond or spirit.
This is an example i found from Paranormal Activity 3, a little girl is used where she sees the Demond.

From this we then thought it would be a good idea to use a young girl as the main character in our film opening. We discussed in our group if any of us had any younger sisters, cousins or close friends we could use. I happened to have a little cousin who is 7 but we decided that she might be to young for the role as we didn't know how long wed be filming or if shed be able to. Georgia then said she had a younger cousin who happened to be 13 a bit older but she looks quite young in the face. Georgia asked her if she would be able to film of the day we decide and she said she can do it so we have chosen her as our main character.

I think she is good for the role as she is a young girl being a common representation to have in supernatural horror films. She will look different in our film opening to what she does in the picture as she wont have any make up on or if she does she will look slightly possessed with black bags under her eyes and a pale face, she will also probably have her hair down
messy as she would of just gotten out of bed. She will also be in the right costume which will be probably be long pyjamas and slippers so its more realistic. I am happy with our main character i think she looks suitable for the role and am excited to start filming with her and see the end result.
