Bridesmaids film
This scene shows the two of the brides best friends, the one on the right is the villain due to her trying to steal the bride off of the women on the left. It shows then making speccing and competing trying to win the bridge over. Therefore, it conforms to romantic comedies because this is a common feature in these types of films.
This scene shows a man and woman having coffee, this conforms to rom-coms because it shows romance between a man and woman and these two eventually end up together and fall in love, it ends in a happy ending.
This shows a photo of all the bridesmaids standing together, this conforms to romantic comedy films because it shows that they are usual based on the female character and are shown for a female audience.
The film doesn’t really include much sound apart from diegetic dialogue, however when they are at the wedding and hen night there is some upbeat music. Also, at the start of the film there is a non-diegetic voiceover of someone introducing who the characters are.
Advantages and disadvantages
