Editing
After filming our footage we went on to the editing process where we all contributed. When putting all the footage in the right order and sorting out what was needed and not i started shortening clips only using necessary bits of it. The screen shows me cutting the clip using the blade tool.
Throughout our film opening there are little clips were the black paranormal figure appears suddenly. The screenshot shows me cutting the clip with the blade tool and then cutting another clip to add it in the middle, a sudden cross cut which i found effective.
I then added in all the titles, first of all i had to decide on a font i chose the one i did as i feel it fitted the genre best after researching on other supernatural horrors. I then chose an effect for the names to appear and disappear i chose a fade as i feel this worked best. After i added in everyones names and in a correct place to fit the opening.
Finally i added in the sound, i did a lot of research on other supernatural horror films it was really hard to find the right piece of music to fit in, when i finally found the right pieces i added it in. One of the tracks i found changed half way through which didn't fit in, so i cut it just because it changed and add it back in this was difficult to get them to link in at the right time.
