Practical of Costumes
For our film opening we have decided to have a demond as it is supernatural themed. For this we had to decide on a costume for it to wear which will be Georgia, i then did some research on other supernatural horror movies with demonds involved.
For our film opening we have decided to have a demond as it is supernatural themed. For this we had to decide on a costume for it to wear which will be Georgia, i then did some research on other supernatural horror movies with demonds involved.
The first image is from the film Mama in this you can see the spirit is a woman who is dressed in black and dark body beimg supernatural spirited as looks dead.
The next image is from Insidious, the women is shown in all black with a veil showing us the idea of a dead bride.
As you can see in this picture there is a women dressed in all black in a woods looking like a widow. This is the idea we have in mind as our location is in a woods, from seeing this image from the women in black making the costume choice easier.
The final image is from sinister unlike the others it is a man, but however he is still dressed in black with dead features e.g. White face and dark eyes.
From looking at these images and demonds from other supernatural horrors i was able to find a costume which i think is appropriate for our film opening and work well my main inspiration being from the women in black, the face wont be shown as the affect may be lost so only the back will. This is the costume i have found and ordered.
