Practice Prouduction - Horror House Productions
The idea of Horror House Productions was one of the ideas we said as a group. We thought this was a good production name to use as our film opening is going based on horror and so it was the best fitting title for our chosen genre. It is very simple but catchy and portrays the message that it is going to involve horror.
As horror movies are usually based in the woods or at a haunted house, I thought by using the woods was a relevant idea and fitted in well. As it was filmed at night, the trees look creepier which adds more effect.
Firstly I waited till evening when it was dark outside, this way it would look better being in the dark as it sends out a scarier tone and went into the woods. Then I filmed different shots of the trees at different angles, so then when I went home I could choose the best video also the best video with good quality.
Below are some images of when I first imported all the different videos I took and then the one I chose is the one dragged into the bottom bar.
Once I had chosen the clip I wanted I played around with the titles and chose one I thought fitted well. I also added a filter on it, so it is darker round the outside and slightly lighter in the middle. After I had done everything I decided to add in a sound clip which is thunder was this was appropriate for the woods and it makes it come together.
