Practical- Production Company Horror House Productions 

Our group came up with the idea to call our production company Horror House Productions this is because we are going to do a horror based movie opening and felt like this name fitted in with the genre the best. 
I then game up with the idea to film a hand covered in blood and sliding down a window as the writing Horror House Productions appeared. 

Firstly I brought lots of fake blood I then waited until it was dark and then decided on the best window / glass to film on which was my back door as was larger. I think got fake blood and smothered it on the hand which I was using I dripped a bit on the window and down the arm. I then filmed it with flash as it made the effect better. I them added the text and affect where it is shown blurry at the side of the main video, I kept the background sound as I liked the thud as the window was smacked making it sound more realistic and effective. This was my editing process- 
Firstly I uploaded the original video which was this

The video was quite long and a lot of it was unneeded, you could also hear me talking at the start of it so firstly I cropped it.

After this I began to add my font which was 'Horror House Productions', I made it white as it was the easiest to see and most effective.

I then added the blurred sides and this was the finishing product-

However when I was looking at effects which could be added i came across this one which caught my eye, I thought it was quite effective as its eerie and spooky with the gush of wind in the background. I'm not certain it will be used but I thought I'd try it out to see if it would work or not.
This was the effect used. 

I love my idea and filming of the hand and blood, I also thought the way it was blued either side of the video was effective and the sound of the thud as the hand hit the window. However if I was to-do this again or was to be used as our production company logo id  change the style of the text so it would be more interesting and relate more to the genre of horror id also fade it in so it came up a bit later after the hand slid down. I'm not sure whether id use the effect I added on the second video depends what it would look like with the change of text and fading, I don't  feel like it really works as it starts a bit later to when the video does and the sound, so I don't  think id use it but overall I am happy with my first attempt.
